1900 census lists her immigration date as 1848, and having lived in America for 52 years. Source: 1900 Federal Census, Illinois, Will, Crete Twp.; ED #101; Sheet #12B; entry 214 226. Could it be that she meant '52 (as in 1852) rather than 52 years? That would better jive with her answers to that question in 1920 (1853) and 1930 (1851).
