Daniel Warren Rapp
Of Arlington Heights
Daniel Warren Rapp was born August 10, 1923, in Highland Park, Illinois to Daniel Webster and Elsie Iona (nee Grove) Rapp. He died Saturday, February 17, 2007 at his home.
Mr. Rapp was a journeyman electrician for 32 years and was a member of IBEW Local 134. He served as an MP attached to the 401st Bombardment group in the 8th Army Air Force during WW II. He served for 35 years on the Electrical Commission for the Village of Arlington Heights.
Warren’s survivors include his children Betty (John) Sollman of Round Lake Beach, Bob (Karen) Rapp of Lynnwood, Washington, Chuck Rapp of Lincolnshire, Margaret Rapp of Arlington Heights and Jeff (Moira) Rapp of Barrington; his grandchildren Therese, Liam and Maggie Rapp; and his sister Frances (Bill) Borders.
He is preceded in death by his wife Eunice nee Gockel.
Memorial visitation from 3:00 until 9:00 PM, Thursday, February 22, 2007 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Memorial service 11:00 AM, Friday, February 23, 2007 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd.
